At today’s meeting, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare has held a consultative hearing of Minister of Health Ms Jelena Borovinić-Bojović on the topic: “Considering epidemiological situation with respect to the current measures to be applied during the upcoming holidays”.
For the purpose of providing the necessary information, and in line with Article 62 paragraph 2 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, the meeting was attended by Mr Borko Bojić, State Secretary at the Ministry of Health.
In line with Article 55 paragraph 2 of the parliamentary Rules of Procedure, Ms Branka Bošnjak, MP, also took part in the meeting,
Members of the Committee expressed their views and positions regarding the epidemiological measures to be applied during the upcoming holidays. In addition to the topic of the consultative heating, the debate included the issued related to the: Montenegro’s health system, Ministry of Heath’s plans, measures and strategies, coronavirus vaccination in Montenegro, education of citizens regarding health issues, operation of hospitality sector, current situation in hospitals, as well as hospital occupancy in respect of the beds dedicated to coronavirus patients. In addition, the meeting discussed the donation account of the former National Coordination Body for Communicable Diseases as well as willingness of the Ministry of Health to improve the economic status of doctors and medical staff.
