Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare holds its First Meeting

Three items of the agenda considered

At today’s meeting, the Committee on Health, Labour and Social Welfare has considered and voted in favour of the Proposal for the Law on Amendment to the Labour Law, submitted by MPs: Mr Slaven Radunović, Mr Boris Bogdanović, Mr Branko Radulović, Mr Dragan Ivanović, Mr Miloš Konatar, Mr Danijel Živković, Mr Ivan Brajović, Mr Ervin Ibrahimović and Mr Raško Konjević

On behalf of the proposer, Ms Slaven Radulović explained the Proposal for the Law on Amendment to the Labour Law.

After expanding the agenda with the initiative for holding a control hearing of Montenegrin Minister of Health  Ms Jelena Borovinić-Bojović, submitted by MPs Mr Halil Duković, Mr Jevto Eraković, Mr Boris Mugoša, Mr Abaz Dizdarević, Ms Draginja Vuksanović-Stanković and Mr Ivan Mitrović, the Committee adopted an unanimous decision for reformulate the control hearing into the initiative for holding a consultative hearing of Montenegrin Minister of Health  Ms Jelena Borovinić-Bojović, on the topic: “Considering epidemiological situation with respect to the current measures to be applied during the upcoming holidays”, which should be held on 30 December 2020.

As regards the item “current issues”, the Committee took the position that, in front of the names and surnames of the members of the Board, a formal education or academic title should be written.

The Chairperson of the Committee called on the members of the Committee to submit, as soon as possible, the proposals for appointing Deputy Chairperson of the Committee.

Also, within the item “current issues”, the Committee supported by a majority of votes the proposal by member of the Committee Mr Strahinja Bulajić to to request urgent information from the Minister of Finance and Social Welfare Mr Milojko Spajić on the epidemiological situation of wards in the PI "Komanski most" Institute and the measures taken to prevent the epidemic in the said institute.
