Zdenka Popović, Vice President of the Democratic Montenegro

She was born in Postojna, Slovenia. She graduated from the Faculty of Economy at the University of Montenegro. She participated in numerous seminars and workshops from the field of management, finance, investment, and internal control in the public sector organised by the Human Resources Administration.
She participated in the programme for improving employability of women in rural areas of Montenegro.
She was awarded the certificate of appreciation for her contribution in implementing the Civic Education Programme organised by the US Embassy in Podgorica. She actively participated in all seminars of the Konrad Adenauer Stiftung and the Ministry for the Human and Minority Rights.
She completed the School of Democratic Governance. As of 2010, a councillor in the Local Assembly of the Capital City. She was also a member of the Parliament of Montenegro.
She has been a Vice President of the Democratic Montenegro since 14 June 2015.
At the parliamentary elections held on 16 October 2016, she was elected member of the Parliament of Montenegro.
