Parliament of Montenegro in recognition of celebrating Journalists' Day

As of Monday 25 January 2021, on the occasion of Journalists' Day which is marked on 23 January, on the plateau in front of the legislative house, it will be possible to visit the exhibition dedicated to a significant jubilee of 150 years of journalism in Montenegro.

At the exhibition, which includes more than 40 photographs, there are, in chronological order, the first editions of the following newspapers: Grlica, Crnogorac, Glas Crnogorca, Crnogorka, Zeta, Nova Zeta, Luča, Književni list, Cetinjski vjesnik, and Dan, up to the modern times and the current daily newspapers, with the photographs of the media in the Parliament of Montenegro.

The exhibition was implemented with the aid of the Đurđe Crnojević National Library, as well as the rich photography archive of the daily “Pobjeda”.

Montenegrin Journalists' Day is marked on the day when, in 1871, the first issue of the first Montenegrin weekly "Crnogorac" was published in Cetinje.
